Venetia Blackman is the Head of Technology Strategy & Portfolio at Service Victoria. Service Victoria is transforming the way public sector agencies interact with citizens by creating new digital channels to make it faster and easier to get things done with government. Venetia is an IT professional with executive management experience in large IT organisations, with a strong focus on strategy and outcomes. She brings a breadth of government experience to Service Victoria, with previous technology executive roles at the ATO where she led the strategy, portfolio & architecture functions. With a strong commitment to removing the complexities of government from the citizen experience, Venetia is passionate about enabling Australian society through the provision of professional and customer-led service delivery. At the Digital Transformation Agency, she helped drive the federal whole-of-Government digital identity program. Venetia has a proven track record of influencing and delivering complex change and digital solutions across government. With a network spanning domestic and international government digital ecosystems, Venetia seeks to contribute to and learn from the global digital government profession.
