Robert is an accomplished business leader with a 30 year track record of delivering change within the banking, commercial and military sectors. A chartered engineer and former army officer, he has operated at the intersection of the financial sector, payments systems and emerging technology, and led strategic technology programmes for some of Europe’s largest banks before transitioning to the fintech ecosystem. He led PwC’s blockchain practice and then founded nodl.io, a tech consultancy focusing on the UN’s sustainable development goals.
As Entrepreneur in Residence at eftpos, Rob leads the digital identity business building an interoperable national infrastructure for digital identity transactions and is also responsible for other innovation initiatives, such as micropayments.
Robert is a non-executive director of several fintech startups, and is Deputy Chairman of Blockchain Australia. He is also the co-author of “Fintech Revolution: Universal inclusion in the new financial ecosystem”.
