Matthew is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for NSW Department of Customer Service (DCS). This role has recently broadened to also encompass CISO responsibilities for the NSW Department of Treasury where he deliver services to Treasury jointly with the Treasury CIO.
Matthew’s role sees him accountable for the delivery of cyber security operations, identity and access management, audit, risk, compliance, awareness and cyber architecture services across the DCS cluster.
In the past 12 months Matthew has held this appointment, the CISO function has grown and matured rapidly. The organisation has also undergone substantial changes through the delivery of a major program – ‘Project Trust’, which has developed new services, capabilities and uplifted maturity significantly.
