J.K. Khalil is a Senior Vice President at Mastercard and looks after the Saudi Arabia & Bahrain cluster. He has over 17 years of banking, strategy consulting and technology experience, in roles across multinational banks, top tier consulting firms and tech start-ups. His experience spans roles and rotations across UK, Middle East and SEA. Previously, he was the Middle East region lead for Mastercard Advisors, Mastercard’s data-driven strategy consulting and services practice, enabling and supporting banking, merchant and government partners in over 200 countries and territories where Mastercard operates in. Prior to Mastercard, J.K. served some of the largest financial services and government clients at Booz & Company (now Strategy&), based out of Dubai where he co-led their wealth and risk management, as well as digital verticals. Before joining Booz in 2012, he held a number of positions at Barclays including strategy, transformation and treasury derivatives sales. He holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Chicago (Booth) and is the President of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of the UAE. He also holds a Computer Systems & Networks Engineering Diploma (MSc) from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
