Husam Al Mahmoud is the Director of Payment Systems & Companies Control “PSCC” at Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority “SAMA”. PSCC regulates, licenses, supervises and oversees payment companies, which includes payment systems and payment service providers, in the Kingdom. Husam is SAMA’s representative in regional and international payment committees. He joined SAMA in 2003 as a system analyst in Banking Technology Department. Since 2008, he has spent many years with payment system policy and oversight areas including domestic and reginal systems. Husam holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas and a bachelor degree in Information System from King Saud University.
