Sven SCHIRMER has been working in various management positions in the logistics, defense, mechanical engineering and railway sectors in Europe since 1996, including in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management and contract management.
His particular expertise lies in the management of sustainable procurement projects as well as the development and accompanying implementation of decarbonization strategies. Since 2021, he has been advising Europe-wide on the integration of environmental impacts into the TCO consideration of any procurement process.
He is currently working in the ÖBB-Holding AG, in the strategic procurement department as Corporate Procurement Coordinator.
