Since 2015, Stefanie Brickwede is passionately heading the corporate project 3D Printing at Deutsche Bahn AG and is responsible for the successful introduction of additive manufacturing throughout the Group. This includes the development of business models, the establishment of a 3D Printing Competence Center and the identification of application areas. As Managing Director, she set up the international leading, neutral network "Mobility goes Additive" to help 3D printing technology achieve a breakthrough in the mobility sector and beyond. As a recognized expert for additive manufacturing, she is a sought-after speaker on this topic.
After graduating as an economist at the Technical University of Hanover, she started her career in the mobility sector and worked for the strategy department of DB AG Holding. S. Brickwede held various management and project management positions at DB AG, including central quality management and established the group quality monitoring system. She was in charge of programme management in the technology department, established a technology academy, implemented supplier management in purchasing and dealt with mobility 4.0 and innovation culture.
