Paulo Menezes Figueiredo, Chief Executive Officer, Metro São Paulo - Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo

Paulo Menezes Figueiredo assumed the chairmanship of the Companhia de Metropolitano de São Paulo / Metrô SP in September 2015 with the mission of operating the largest subway network in Brazil, which carries 4 million users per day, and completing four major expansion projects: Extensions of Lines 4-Yellow and 5-Lilacs and the monorails of Lines 15-Silver and 17-Gold. His career has been in the metro public  transportation  for 35 years, Menezes holds a degree in Business Administration from FMU - Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas and Law at UNIP - Universidade Paulista. He has worked in the area of Communication of the SP Subway, was Financial Planning Manager and Chief Financial Officer. In 2014, he was in charge of the Executive Secretariat of the Public-Private Partnerships Management Council of the State Government of São Paulo, where he consolidated the PPPs of lines 6 and 18.
