Mark A. Jensen, PhD, PMP is a Senior Principal Scientist and Director of Genomic Data Programs at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc./Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. Prior to his current project role as Scientific Lead for the National Cancer Institute's Genomic Data Commons, he led The Cancer Genome Atlas' Data Coordinating Center. Among his interests are genomic and clinical data standardization, validation and quality management, open source software development, and the application of project management principles in the context of scientific research.
