Dimitrios has an MSc in Economics from the Yokohama National University, Japan and he has also studied for a post-graduate diploma in European Politics from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium. He is currently working on completing an Executive MSc in Health Economics, Policy and Management at the London School of Economics, UK by end 2018.
Dimitrios has more than 13 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, having worked internationally (Japan, Greece, UK). Dimitrios started his career in the consulting industry for pharma in Japan, where he had the opportunity to be awarded and lead both domestic and international projects for the top-20 pharma companies. He is currently an EMEA Associate Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research supporting both pipeline and late lifecycle assets in Astellas’ oncology portfolio. Dimitrios is highly interested in new technologies, especially in the cognitive computing space, and how these can support the development of innovative new drugs delivering a positive impact to the quality of life of patients everywhere.
