Carme Pinyol, Early Products and HEOR Lead, Novartis

Carme holds MD degree from the UAB, a PhD on Economics from the UCLM, an MSc in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics from the UPF, an MSc in Health Research from the UCLM and an Executive Program Degree from the ESADE Business School. 
She practiced as a Physician until she joined the pharmaceutical industry. She has more than 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. At Bayer, Carme has held various positions related to clinical research and health economics/market access. She was the Head of Market Access for Spain since 2012 and member of the Executive Committee and Global Market Access Management Team.
She was Principal HEOR at IMS for Spain, Portugal and Italy. She was founder and CEO of INNOVA-strategic consulting, a scientific specialized consultancy.
She was the Head of Pricing and Market Access for the Southern of Europe at Pierre Fabre and member of the Executive Committee of Spain and member of the Global Market Access Team until December 2021.
Currently, she is Early Products and HEOR Lead at Novartis Spain.
She has frequently been invited as a speaker to courses and seminars. She is a professor at EADA Bussiness School and Talento Ephos (UIC). 
She has also authored more than 60 communications in international and national congresses and more than 30 papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She is former director and Editorial Advisory Committee Member of “Revista Española de Economía de la Salud”. She is also a reviewer of the peer review journals. 
Carme is the Past-President of the ISPOR Spain Chapter. She was President of the ISPOR Spain Chapter and member of the ISPOR Global Engagement Council until December 2021. She is meber of the Audit Commiitte of ISPOR. She is a former member of the Board of the Spanish Association of Health Economics (AES).
