Youcef spearheads Strategy at the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). The DFF was launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dubai. Youcef is also part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. He is particularly passionate about the nexus between humanity and technology.
Before moving to Dubai in early 2017, Youcef was a Senior Associate at Solebury Capital, a boutique Investment Bank in New York. During his tenure, Solebury advised on 250 capital market transactions for $90bn in proceeds, and ~25% of all U.S. IPOs. Notable mandates include Snap Inc’s (Snapchat) $3.9bn IPO, U.S. Foods’ $1.2bn IPO and King Digital Entertainment’s (Candy Crush) $500mm IPO. While at Solebury, Youcef also oversaw a $100mm co-investment fund. In Sep 2014, Solebury Capital was acquired by PNC Financial Services.
Youcef has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from Lynn University. He is a former student-athlete and won the NCAA Men's Soccer National Championship in 2012.
