Melissa is an Operational Intelligence Leader at F. Hoffmann - La Roche in Basel, where she supports recruitment and retention strategies in late stage development.
Her speciality has been helping teams build Recruitment and Retention strategies by implementing learnings around the patient’s pathway and their circle of support. In addition to her day to day role she has supported various Roche Initiatives to date: the Decentralized trial model, PIPE (Process for Identifying, Prioritizing, and Evaluating recruitment & retention tactics), ACT (About Clinical Trials platform and materials), Paediatrics (Assent Templates) and Patient Insights amongst many other activities.
Melissa is extremely passionate and driven by her work, and feels Patient Recruitment and Retention planning is integral to the success of recruiting and retaining patients in our clinical trials whilst always keeping the patient and their circle of support in mind.
There are two parts to the Festival of Biologics: the five world-class international conferences covering Antibodies, Immunotherapy, BioSimilars, Clinical Trials, and High Potency APIs; and an exhibition featuring the most exciting technology and solutions for pharma and biotech. There is a registration fee to attend the conferences. To visit the exhibition is free.
