Suparat Chirathivat is a powerful business driver with strong entrepreneurial instincts and acumen. As Centara Hotels & Resorts Vice President of Business Development he is responsible for driving the company’s strategic partnerships and overseeing the chain’s expansion plan on a domestic & international basic.
During his seven-year tenure, Suparat has helped to increase the Centara portfolio from 11 to 74 properties across 11 countries, of which 80 percent are managed properties. His warm personality, his enormous experience, his reputation as a man of integrity, and his sheer love of the business have been amongst the factors that have allowed Centara to grow so quickly.
Suparat earned an MBA from the Marshall School of Business, at the University of Southern California, where he has earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Finance as an undergraduate.
As a regular contributor to business journals, Suparat served as an advisor to the Minister of Finance (Thailand), and is an MBA guest lecturer at universities in Thailand.
