Klaus R. Rauter, originally from Austria is working in Thailand’s hospitality industry since the mid 1980’s.

His hotel employee career started being a Chef and ended being Group General Manager before founding his own company to contribute even more to Asia’s Tourism industry.

Klaus is the founder and Managing Director for Mai-BS (Thailand) Hospitality Group’s which core business is high quality hotel consultation for hotel developers, investors and board members mainly in Thailand but also in other countries. Part of Mai-BS (Group) services is also hotel concept development, hotel management and hotel operational audit.

Klaus’s passion is the development of unique hotel and resort concepts, the creation of exciting service concepts and philosophies, ‘WoW’ factors for guests and agents, excitement and of course guest memories.

The company is well-known for the development of excellent, realistic and professional Bank presentations for hotel and resort projects to ‘win over the bank’; to get their support and commitment and often make Banks compete with for the project by offering competitive interest rates.
