With a career spanning over 25 years within the hospitality industry, Harry Thaliwal’s extensive experience has taken him to nine different countries in a variety of operational and senior leadership roles.
After an initial grounding in a renowned Swiss Hospitality School, Harry’s career started with the Pan Pacific Group in hotel operations. Very quickly, he progressed on to a pre-opening role with IHG, where he went on to spend 23 years. During this time, Harry headed four other hotels openings, two rebrands and various corporate-based strategic projects, including the launch of Holiday Inn Express into Southeast Asia, and Thailand being the first.
From an illustrious career with IHG, Harry joined Centara Hotels & Resorts as Brand Director – COSI Hotels and has been instrumental in scoping and positioning the brand post its successful launch. Centara Hotels & Resorts is Thailand’s leading hotel operator.
Harry brings strong commercial acumen, brand management and a far reaching knowledge of the hospitality industry that is poised to deliver on growth and commercial success of Thailand’s tourism industry today and in the future.
