Anike Te is an industrial strategist, honorary professor, and advisor focused on long-term strategic growth and innovation. She was appointed Chief Strategy Officer of Lucideon Group in 2018, previously served on the Group Business Development Board and is now a member of the Strategy Management Group.
She is the Aegis Professor of Engineering Biology at the University of Bristol, where she supports the translation of synthetic and engineering biology from academic research into industrial application—spanning novel therapeutics, diagnostics, and materials. She has served on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Bristol Centre for Engineering Biology (BrisEngBio), helping shape its strategic direction and strengthening its translational impact.
In 2024, Anike became Strategic Advisor to the Chief Scientific Officer of the UK Health Security Agency, providing counsel on long‑term strategies for science.
Her earlier career includes practising as a dentist and managing international clinical trials for two leading dental implant manufacturers. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor, bringing a strong foundation in finance, governance, and internal controls.
