Alun Bedding is currently the Global Head of Methods, Collaboration and Outreach in the Data and Statistical Sciences Department.  He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years and specializes in early clinical development, most specifically dose-finding, dose-escalation, adaptive trials and Bayesian methods.  He is a DIA Innovative Design Working Group and Bayesian Methods Working Group member.  He is also a member of the UK Medical Research Council Experimental Medicine funding panel.  Alun has a PhD from the University of Reading.
