Sanjeev Gupta has obtained Ph.D. in Cell Line Engineering and M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology. Also received Honorary Professorship award from Amity University, MH (Feb., 2024). At present working as Sr. Vice President and BU Head-Biosimilar Division (R&D, Mfg. and Business Dev.), Ipca Laboratories Ltd., Mumbai, India. Dr. Gupta carries over 24 years of industrial experience and has been working since 2000 on the development of various “Biosimilars” including monoclonal antibodies. His core expertise lies into Molecular Biology, Cell Line, Process Development, Regulatory, Tech Transfer and Scale-up in the GMP for Clinical and Commercial manufacturing. He is actively involved in dossier submission, approval and interaction with various regulatory agencies such as EMA, MHRA-UK, CDSCO and US-FDA for Biosimilar launch in the overseas markets.   He delivered talks on Biosimilars in various national and international conferences organized by IBC, Terrapin, BPI, BioTrain, IMAPAC, CphI, Biopharma, Informa and UBM. He also chaired/Moderated various sessions in the national and international forums for conducting the biological conferences.   He has published several Research articles (13), Book chapters (06), Magazines (06) and Patent (01) in lieu of the Biosimilar development.
