Dr. Banach is an adjunct instructor at Vanderbilt University, School of Medicine, Department of Biostatistics, and Project Manager of CTSpedia, a web-based tool to aid statisticians, epidemiologists, and clinical researchers in statistical understanding of their clinical research data. She has worked in clinical operations in industry and academia for more than 30 years. She is committed to an emphasis on the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders: clinical operations, data managements, biostatistics, quality management, to name a few. Currently, she co-leads a group of industry, academic, and FDA clinical researchers developing the Clinical Development Design (CDD) Framework. The group has outlined the components of the framework. These components are being applied to the development of an information model through concept maps.
