With a passion to serve patients, Chad Pettit has joined Amgen’s Global Government Affairs and Policy team with extensive commercial, biosimilar, and policy expertise. In this role he will continue to elevate the important role biosimilars play in health system sustainability and advocating for policy solutions that support a sustainable biologics medicines marketplace with biosimilars.  In his most recent role as Executive Director, Marketing for Amgen’s Biosimilars Business Unit, Chad has led the Global Biosimilars Commercial Team in developing global strategies for Amgen’s portfolio of 11 biosimilar medicines and future pipeline. Chad has also served as a spokesperson on biosimilars for Amgen in the biopharmaceutical industry. Throughout his tenure at Amgen, Chad has held commercial roles across the US, Europe, and global markets, focusing on pricing, market access, and marketing. Additionally, he represented Amgen as a board member of the US Biosimilars Forum, an industry trade group. Chad earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Davis. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is deeply committed to leadership and service within the community and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
