ACADEMIA TO INDUSTRY WORKSHOP DAY

The Festival of Biologics USA 2019 will be introducing the “Academia to Industry Workshop Day”, taking place on the afternoon of the 4th March 2019 (12:50 - 18:00) .

This session will be open exclusively to academics (PhD students, post-docs, fellow researchers) interested in taking the next step from academia to industry.

The Academia to Industry Workshop day will be led by leading scientists who have extensive experience making the transition themselves and working alongside others who have also made the transition. The day will consist of four workshops ranging from “The pathway from academia to industry”, and “A mile-high view of antibody therapeutics”, to “Strategies for accelerating molecules and clinical design” and “Investigator initiated clinical trials”. The day will end with a senior level panel Q&A, where job seekers will have the opportunity to question high-level representatives from the biologics industry.
