Dr Stacie Ropka, Partner, Axinn

Stacie Ropka’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, due diligence and client counseling, with an emphasis on the life sciences. Her IP counseling and due diligence experience includes extensive counseling for product development efforts relating to biologics and reconstructive biomaterials, including products that utilize adult stem cells. In addition, Dr. Ropka has served on the trial team for several patent lawsuits involving major pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Ropka received her JD degree, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University
College of Law in 2005, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. While attending
law school, Dr. Ropka was a research associate with the Technology Transfer Research
Center at Syracuse University College of Law where she did market analyses for various
biotechnologies and identified potential licensing partners for several clients.

Prior to joining Axinn, Dr. Ropka was a faculty member at UpState Medical University, where she conducted research in autoimmune diseases implicating the central nervous system, specifically neuromuscular disease.
