Lars Hamberg is a portfolio manager at Aktiva Fonder and manages, together with Christer Hultblad and Clarissa Dackberg, two global macro funds. Lars has over twenty years experience, mainly from international equities and derivatives, and he has worked for S.G Warburg, Swiss Bank, UBS and Alfred Berg/ABN AMRO with trading, sales and research in various positions, including head of equity research. In 2008/2009, he was responsible for restructuring Glitnir AB in a CEO role. Aside from his other duties, he has, since 2004, given executive classes for the proficiency test organized by the Swedish Securities Dealers’ Association and he has been engaged as arbiter to the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC). His academic record includes a Master of Law degree and PhD studies in Economics. Lars has written a book on counterparty risk in OTC-derivatives trading and he regularly speaks on investment strategy and risk.
