Aleem Siddiqui | Close Brothers Asset Management

Raised in the US, Aleem first gained an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Hamilton College NY, followed by an advanced degree in Applied Mathematics from the LSE and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Imperial College, London. Aleem started his career in Investment Banking in New York before moving across to London to work in investment management helping develop and manage trading strategies, index investments and hedge overlays. He moved to Close Brothers Asset Management in 2010 to help establish the alternatives and ETF research efforts. At Close, Aleem’s responsibilities include running the Tactical Select Passive range of funds which implement active asset allocation calls using ETF’s and Index Funds.
