As Global Head of Engagement at Telecom Infra Project (TIP), Vishal sits on the senior leadership team reporting to the TIP Board. He is responsible building a commercially sustainable operation with a broad and active member base, engaging globally with TIP members, industry stakeholders and policy makers to open opportunities for collaboration on R&D and commercial solution development within the areas of future networks and connectivity, commercially building & scaling TIP member services, building partnerships and driving new business opportunities for TIP members, and speaking on behalf of the telecoms industry advocating for a trusted acceleration path towards autonomous, programmable, AI-driven telecom networks and operations. Prior to joining TIP, Vishal worked for over 25 years across consulting and telecoms in strategy, business development and P&L positions, at Accenture, A.T. Kearney, Telefonica, the GSMA and now TIP. His most notable achievement was at the GSMA, where he led a global programme, which facilitated Industry & Government collaboration within 10 emerging markets to bridge the digital divide for underserved communities.
