With over a decade of experience, Dr. Haider is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture, Computing, and Engineering at the University of East London (UEL). Dr. Haider has actively contributed to shaping UK public policy on regulating the sustainability and energy efficiency of ICT products. Her extensive experience includes delivering lectures, leading research initiatives, and managing industry collaborations in energy and environmental sustainability within data centre. Her current research focuses on the design and implementation of sustainable digital infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on AI, cloud and data centre environments. Additionally, Dr. Haider actively promotes women in digital infrastructure and has held ambassadorial roles, including with Nomad Futurist, where she champions greater representation and empowerment in the sector.
