Raoul Jacquand, VP Strategic Alliances & External Affairs, Alcatel Submarine Networks

Raoul Jacquand joined ASN (Alcatel Submarine Networks) in early 2025 as VP Strategic Alliances & External Affairs, with the mandate to lead the company’s alliances, M&A and partnerships strategy, as well as its engagement with the industry-wide ecosystem of public & private institutions. In this role, he’s responsible for strategic planning, economic intelligence, external growth strategy as well as communications for ASN. Prior to that, Raoul acquired 30 years of experience in multiple industrial segments. He started his career fulfilling mobile & fixed network engineering and network deployment roles with Nortel Networks in France, Germany, and the USA. He then joined CGG, a geophysical exploration services company, with sales & marketing responsibilities in the EMEA region, before being appointed Director of the Sub-Saharan Africa region, based in South Africa. And lastly, before joining ASN, he worked for Dassault Systèmes , an engineering software company, as Director of a product line for geospatial modeling solutions before leading the company’s Public Sector segment for the EMEA region, with a particular focus on Africa. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale des Télécommunications de Paris.
