Nadine Akkari received her Ph.D. degree in Next Generation Networks from National Superior School of Telecommunications (ENST, Paris), France, in 2006. She worked as associate professor with the faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2009 till 2019 where she led many funded international projects. She is currently an associate professor with Jeddah International College, Computer Science department. Dr. Akkari is an editorial board member of Elsevier Journal AdHoc Networks and a senior member of IEEE since 2015. Her current research interests are in 5G/6G, smart cities, IoT, and AI.
