Wolfgang Heer, CEO, Buglas e.V.


Wolfgang is an economist with 20 years of experience in the ICT-branch. He started his career as an assistant to deputies of the German Parliament. He was then serving as spokesman of a federal ministry in Germany before starting to work for ICT-enterprises and a German telco association. Since 2011 he has been representing the concerns of currently 160 enterprises deploying FTTB/H-networks in Germany on local and regional basis as CEO of BUGLAS, the federal association for optical fiber access in Germany. Wolfgang is also co-founder and spokesman of the European Local Fibre Alliance ELFA, umbrella organization of currently 11 national associations for alternative public and private local fibre operators from 8 EU member states.
