Is the event live?
YES! We are so excited to host the event live and in-person at Mainz Congress, Mainz.


Can I attend the event virtually or dial in? 
NO. There are a few speakers who may have to give their presentations virtually, but attendees will need to be at the event physically.


Where can I view the latest agenda?
You can still find our latest agenda by going to the website here . The most up-to-date version will also feature on our event platform, Swapcard which you'll receive the logins for in the upcoming weeks. Please note, there will be no "paper agendas" at the event, so we encourage you to download the app.


Will lunch be served?
We have extended the hours that food is available, it is also important to note that packaged food is for sale. You will need to buy your coffee/lunch.


When can I collect my event badge?
Please collect your badge from the registration desk. Your entry will be easier if you collect your badge between 4 and 6pm the day before. If arriving on the day, please allow plenty of time to collect your badge.


What are the COVID-19 entrance protocols?

Connected Germany will be taking place as a 2G event.

This means that:
To access the event you must show proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. If you are unable to do so, you will not be allowed entry to the event.

Wearing a face mask will be mandatory inside the venue.

We are in contact with the venue about whether we will need to adopt any additional measures, which will be in line with government regulations. Any additional measures adopted will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

What is Swapcard?
Swapcard is our official event platform app. You will receive your login details within the next week. Once you have received your details, you must download the app and login as you will need to present your QR code at registration for your badge. 
The app will also give you the opportunity to make connections and network with other attendees. As there will be no paper agendas at the event, you can view it on the app; build your own personalised agenda by marking the sessions you are interested in.

Please note, you cannot attend the event or dial into any sessions virtually through the app. You will need to attend the event physically to participate in sessions.



1.  Go to www.swapcard.com
2.  Top right - Log in as a Participant 
3.  Enter the email you used to register for the Connected Germany
4.  Create own password
5.  Wait 15-20mins - the link will be sent to your email
  • To access the platform, you have to use a recent browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • The link sent from swapcard will take you to your default browser. If this isn’t Chrome or Mozilla, you will need to right click on the link, copy the link and paste into Chrome or Mozilla browser.
  • The event app is only used to access the agenda, floorplan and networking. We will not live-stream any sessions

Please note: Only registered attendees can access the platform. It may take up to 1 hour to complete your registration. When the platform is ready for you to log in, you automatically receive an email from hello@swapcard.com which will take you through to the event. Please make sure this address is added to your safe sender list because you will also be notified about meeting requests etc.

Alternatively, once registered using your unique link, you can go to https://www.swapcard.com/ and click on log in as participant. It will ask you to put in your email and create your own password.

Login issues Trouble logging in? Don't panic, there is always a solution ... please try the below:
  • Make sure you try multiple browsers ( Google Chrome is preferred). Please note, Swapcard does not support IE or Edge
  • Have you tried the mobile app, if your desktop version isn’t working?
  • Have you tried logging in and out? It sounds cliché but it is simple and sometimes effective when Swapcard is having a temporary glitch. 
  • Do you keep getting the 'we have sent you an email' but you never receive it? This could be due to your company proxy/firewall settings blocking Swapcard emails. Please contact your IT department and in the meantime, send us over your personal email.
