Jon Hale is the Strategic Transport Lead at the National Infrastructure Commission, and is part of the team developing the first National Infrastructure Assessment. He also runs the Commission’s ‘Roads for the Future’ innovation competition, which seeks ideas from across industry and academia for how the UK’s roads should be adapted for connected and autonomous vehicles. Prior to joining the Commission he worked for 15 years as a private sector transport consultant with a particular focus on local and regional transport strategy development, gaining experience in a broad range of disciplines and as a project manager.
