Over 30 years’ experience leading development of communications systems & protocols, Industrial Internet of Things, connectivity, and information management systems. Dan is currently the SVP of Software & Engineering at Wilder Fields a technology enabled food company. Wilder Fields is leveraging state of the art communications technology, IIoT, and information management systems coupled with leading edge agricultural science to build out vertical farming facilities in the U.S. transforming how fresh healthy greens are delivered to local communities. Prior to joining Wilder Fields, Dan was the CTO & VP of Engineering at a global pulmonary medical device manufacturer. He led development of an information management system that globally connected any hospital or clinic with any physician or medical researcher. Dan began his career at Northrop Grumman developing state of the art Flight Test communications and data acquisition systems in the Advanced Technology group. Dan has a graduate degree in Software Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
