Ben Blink is the managing principal at Blink Public Policy, LLC -- a full service consultancy that specializes in government affairs related to broadband connectivity, economic development, infrastructure, and emerging technology.
Prior to his consulting work, Ben served as a policy advisor to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to develop and implement his policy agenda related to transportation and technology innovation. During Ben’s tenure, Governor Ducey signed precedent-setting legislation that memorializes the safe testing and commercialization of automated passenger and commercial vehicles. Ben advised Governor Ducey on his rural broadband strategy including the creation of a state broadband office, the opening of state highway rights-of-way to commercial broadband development, and investments to build broadband conduit along key interstates to bring high-speed internet to rural Arizona. Prior to his time in Arizona, Ben worked for five years at Google Inc on its business and public policy teams. He received his bachelor's degree from Carleton College and a master's in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
