Amanda Hofer is the Assistant General Manager at Central Texas Telephone Cooperative in Goldthwaite, Texas, and has over 17 years of Telecom experience. She has a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in many aspects of the telecommunications industry, with two of her passions being sales and marketing, and regulatory affairs. Mrs. Hofer started her career as a Sales Representative at West Central Wireless and progressed to Billing Manager, where she was instrumental in securing state and federal funding for the company in excess of $10M per year. She then worked at Innovative Systems as software support, where she completed over 10 customer conversions, various special projects for customers, and was able to help companies of all sizes and structure find ways to become more efficient in their operations. Finally, at Taylor Telecom, she was the Controller and finally the Director of Business Operations. While at Taylor, through strategic sales and marketing techniques, Mrs. Hofer doubled the number of subscribers and increase average monthly revenue per subscriber by over $15.00/month in just under 4 years. She joined CTTC in August of 2022, and is excited to see what growth opportunity lay ahead. Mrs. Hofer has a BS in Chemistry from Angelo State University, and a MBA in Management from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She has been recognized as a ‘Rising Star’ in the telecommunication industry by the Broadband Bunch, as well as receiving ‘Woman of the Year’ for the Telecommunication Industry in 2011, by The National Association of Professional Women.
