Stephanie Greco (1974, France) completed her under graduate studies in Physical Chemistry in the ESPCI Paris-Tech, where she received her Engineer degree in 1999. She obtained the same year a Master degree in Condensed Matter Chemistry at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France.
Then she started a PhD in the Laboratory Leon Brillouin (CEA-CNRS), dedicated to the characterization of liposomes by light and neutron scattering, after their extrusion through nanopores. In 2002, she joined the research group of Jean-Louis Viovy in the Curie Institute, for a postdoctoral position in the field of bio-sensors, using grafted magnetic beads and microfluidic systems.
In 2003 she integrated sanofi-aventis, where she was in charge of a laboratory of physical analysis during 7 years. Her principal mission was to support the process development of drugs physical treatments (milling, micronisation, nanomilling and amorphization by spray-drying and co-milling) and to understand the physical mechanisms underlying some process issues (dehydration or amorphization during milling, etc...). She developed a strong expertise in the characterization of amorphous dispersions.
In 2010 she has moved to the Pharmaceutical Engineering service where she developed firstly non standard formulations and processes for extremely poor soluble drugs in the nanotechnology domain: pure drug nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, etc.. .Since 2011 she leads industrial transfer of injectable drugs ( nanosuspension for intra-articular route and a Mab lyophilised product for reconstitution and sub-cutaneous injection).
