uses advanced machine learning algorithms (mainly hybrid models) to better and faster describe bioprocesses. Our customers are mainly in early stage development (up- and downstream) aiming to optimize their bioprocesses with less experiments (up to -70%). We apply model-based and intensified Design of Experiments for such characterization and optimization tasks. Hybrid models are required to describe the resulting data in the most accurate way. Another advantage is that the created hybrid models can be used during upscaling and for monitoring and control in the later stage. We already published several articles on how this technology speeds up the development process and several more, which we set up together with our industry partners, are currently under review.
