Gisens Biotech is a point-of-care diagnostic company that has developed and patented technology for multiplex and digital testing with very simple usability. The test uses graphene biosensors integrated into lab-on-a-chip (G-LOC) cassettes to detect biomarkers with high accuracy (≥ 97%) and sensitivity (≥ 98.7%) in less than five minutes. The test includes a smartphone app with ML models to quantify biomarkers with such accuracy, estimate health risks, and predict trends in the patient's disease.

In collaboration with hospitals and laboratories, the technology has been clinically validated for self-testing of kidney function using minimally invasive samples (saliva and capillary blood) and for testing respiratory virus antigens. Moreover, a user experience study with 50 volunteers was conducted, and shows excellent product acceptance and recommendation. These studies have been published in high-impact peer-reviewed scientific journals.
