Wilma van Dijk, Director, Safety, Security and Environment, Royal Schiphol Group

Director Safety, Security & Environment, Schiphol Group Ms. Wilma van Dijk was born January 25th 1966. She is married and has two children. She received a MA in Law at the University of Tilburg (1991). During her career from 2009 to 2015 she occupied several posts within the Ministry of Justice, e.g. Deputy National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism as well as Director Cybersecurity. Since October 2015 she is director Safety, Security & Environment at Schiphol Group. She is responsible for the policy on and the implementation of Aviation Security, Access Control, Company Security. This includes contract management, contacts with (inter)national government agencies, private security companies and technical development companies. She is also responsible for policy on Safety and Environmental issues and for the Airport Fire Brigade. Until June 2020, Wilma also was responsible for cyber security and she was the CISO of Schiphol Group. Since June 1 st 2020 Wilma also is Managing Director of Lelystad Airport, next to her tasks as Director of Safety, Security & Environment at Royal Schiphol Group
