Tom Hsieh, President and Co-Founder, Northern Pacific Airways/Flycoin

Tom Hsieh is President of Northern Pacific Airways, a new transpacific long-haul airline, as well as President of FlyCoin, a venture-funded crypto-based loyalty fintech start-up. In addition, he is President of Ravn Alaska, the largest regional airline in Alaska. Tom orchestrated the acquisition of Ravn Alaska through his other role as Co-Founder and Chairman of FLOAT Shuttle Inc. a venture funded urban air mobility commuter airline based in Pomona, CA. Prior to founding FLOAT, he served for more than 10 years with EarthLink, beginning from its early start-up phase through its IPO, managing engineering and IT functions. Tom and his wife, Bree Devones Hsieh, are committed to living modestly in order to donate the rest of their income to non-profit and civic efforts. Tom is a social entrepreneur creating organizations and instigating initiatives bringing about social impact. He serves on a number of non-profit and civic boards and is an active community leader in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys in Southern California, including the Intervalley Health Plan, San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, Los Angeles County Fair Association, and Claremont Graduate University Board of Trustees. He also serves on the board of Launch Alaska, a nonprofit deployment accelerator helping climate tech companies gain traction and deployment in Alaska. He received his Executive MBA from the Drucker School of Management in 2004 and graduated with a bachelor of science in Physics from Harvey Mudd College in 1993.
