Samik is currently the Assistant Vice President for Travel & Hospitality at Infosys, focusing on airlines, lodging, and travel technology providers.  Infosys is a USD $16 billion global technology consulting firm, with a presence in over 60 countries working across various industry sectors.  The Infosys Travel & Hospitality practice supports the full spectrum of organizations in the landscape, including airlines, hotels, travel technology companies, OTAs, airports and aerospace manufacturing companies.

Samik has over 20 years of industry experience, partnering with multiple airlines and their IT leaders.  Along with his team, Samik helps airlines realize Digital Transformation opportunities across all areas of their operations, including customer service and distribution.  Infosys is partnering with hyperscalers in modernizing airline legacy technologies and also bringing new solutions in the market such as Cargo Tracking, Asset Optimization, NDC platforms, and CRM modernization.  Infosys is a proud member of the IATA Strategic Partnerships Program and an active participant of the IATA Digital Think Tank, where Samik and other colleagues are working alongside airlines to address key industry challenges such as NDC optimization, sustainability, and customer experience. Infosys is also a signatory of the World Economic Forum’s Cleaner Skies for Tomorrow initiative.
