Priyanga Wijewardana is a Technology Evangelist with over 15+ years of hands-on exposure in Information Technology, Digitalization, Product Management, Business Process Reengineering, Simulation Technology and Commercial Flight Training. He is the current Digital Experience Manager at SriLankan Airlines - The National Airline of Sri Lanka - member of oneworld global alliance.
▪ Priyanga leads the Digital Experience Team at the Airline to create and implement strategies designed to improve the, in designing seamless and brand-led digital customer experience, optimizing product and technology to better service our customers, both internal business and external, enhancing satisfaction and conversion.
▪ During his career he has served as an End User Computing Manager (IT Business Relations), a Technical Manager and as a Network Engineer in Charge at SriLankan Airlines. Further he served as a Consultant and a Systems Administrator to Softwerx - UK’s leading Microsoft cloud security specialist. He has been serving in United Kingdom, delivering network & systems infrastructure solutions for SMBs.
▪ He demonstrates expertise in formulating operational policies leading to ensure smooth customer experience and develop customer service standards to enhance comfort & convenience. Aside from technicality he’s strongly into developing client and customer relationships to establish long term partnerships.
▪ He’s a mentor for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Sri Lanka. As a passion, Priyanga contributes to young generation by promoting the commercial aviation through awareness programs reaching public and academic institutions.
▪ Also, he is a speaker and a key-panelist across aviation forums across Asia and have significantly contributed to the strategic growth of aviation IT in the region.
