Kevin O'Toole, Vice President Strategy, Cirium

Kevin O’Toole is the Chief Strategy Officer at Cirium, the data and analytics company that is helping to shape an intelligent future for air travel. 

Kevin has been with the Cirium business, a part of the global information-based analytics company RELX, for over 24 years and has led Cirium’s strategy division since 2005. He helps to set the company’s strategic vision and future direction, drives Cirium’s business growth activities, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and leads the global market development team. 

His strategic vision has accelerated the company’s transformation into a data and analytics powerhouse. He has directed and overseen the acquisitions of ACAS, Ascend, Innovata, FlightStats, Diio, Snowflake Software and most recently Migacore. He additionally led the divestment of FlightGlobal—what was the publishing arm of Cirium in 2019. 

Prior to this role, Kevin was the Editor at Airline Business for seven years and the Business Editor at Flight International for over five years—both a part of FlightGlobal. During this time, he restructured the business model for Airline Business and advanced Flight International’s coverage towards aerospace and airline corporate strategy, results, and market analysis. 

Kevin has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law, from the University of Oxford. He is based in London, UK.
