Gisli Brynjolfsson, Director Global Marketing, Icelandair

Gísli has been the Director of Global Marketing at Icelandair, Iceland’s flagship airline, since 2019. Before joining the company, he spent 15 years heading a leading advertising agency based in Reykjavík, and has worked in consulting and board roles for a number of marketing organizations. He holds a Masters in International Business.
 
 
Gísli is currently chairman of the board of Icelandic Lamb and board member of the “Inspired by Iceland” initiative by Business Iceland. Previous board involvement includes roles with Nordic eMarketing and the Icelandic Marketing Association (Imark).
