Alan Josephs, Chief Product Officer, Switchfly

Alan Josephs is the EVP of Product, Partnerships and Marketing for Switchfly.  A travel industry expert with nearly 25 years of leadership experience in ecommerce, product management, marketing, and hospitality, Alan previously led the hotel business at Travelzoo, served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Allianz Global Assistance, and was CEO of Travel Intelligence and Perfect Escapes, an online travel startup focused on luxury hotels.  Prior to that, Alan spent six years at Orbitz Worldwide, and has also held leadership roles at Travelocity, Hyatt Vacations, and Preview Travel.   
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.  Alan lives in Marin County with his wife and three daughters, and is a former board member for the Greater Virginia Make-A-Wish Foundation.
