Uptrip is a new loyalty platform where Lufthansa Group travellers can earn rewards with their flights, whether they are frequent flyers or occasional travellers.
Upon scanning their boarding passes, users receive trading cards which they can use to complete specific collections. After a collection is completed, they get a reward, such as lounge access, wi-fi voucher, frequent traveller status and more.
All trading cards are NFTs, minted on Polygon blockchain, which represents the wish to leverage blockchain technology to innovate in the loyalty space.
Uptrip was launched in April 2023 and is available for iOS and Android.
