Jetweels is founded by Esma Dahbali, an entrepreneur from NYC, a graduate from St. Francis College with a degree in Aviation Business. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Transportation Management from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York.
Jetweels/Smartweels is an offshoot off Pax Assist.
In 2007, PAX Assist opened its doors as a New York-based “Transport chair only” service company. Pax Assist immediately began working on technology innovations to improve the quality of service provided to transport chair-bound passengers while reducing costs for their airline partners.
In March of 2019, Jetweels was introduced to Terminal 4 at JFK, Pax Assist took their knowledge from assisting millions of passengers with disabilities and developed Jetweels as a solution to many travel-related problems.
Coming second half of 2019 is SMARTWEELS, this application connects passengers with wheelchairs assist vendors via a mobile application.
