What is The World Aviation Festival?

The World Aviation Festival is commercial aviation industry's largest meeting and market place.

2023 will have exciting topics that are crucial to industry improvements and recovery such as automation, biometrics, demand forecasting, new normal, sustainbaility and much more. New business models are at the heart of our programme.
 
We help the aviation industry keep up with new changes in the market and translate them into actionable take-aways, that drive innovation, experience and revenue.
 
Over two days we'll feature 500 speakers from the world's largest airlines, airports and travel technology leaders, sharing their secrets, tips and lessons learnt.
 

Is the event live?

YES! We are so excited to host the event in-person.

 

Can I attend the event virtually or dial in?

NO. There are a few speakers who may have to give their presentations virtually, but attendees will need to be at the event physically.

 

When and where is the event?

The World Aviation Festival is held at the FIL - Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre. The World Aviation Festival 2023 will take place on the 26-28th September 2023.

Will Wi-fi be available on-site?

How do I get there?

Train, Taxi or Bus

The most cost-effective way to get from Lisbon to FIL is by train which costs approxitamely £1 and takes around 9 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi will cost around £7-£9 and will take you to the venue in only 9-10 minutes.

 

A bus is also available departing from Estação Sta. Apolónia and arriving at Estação Oriente. Services are available every two hours, and operate every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The journey takes approximately 11 min.

How much are tickets?

The full three-day conference and exhibition pass costs £2695 per person. This gives you access to all conference theatres, and the exhibition floor. However, you can save a significant amount by booking early. The earlier you book the more your ticket will be. For more info, visit our ticket page.

 

How do I receive my ticket?

Once you complete your booking, a confirmation email will be sent directly to your email address. All attendees must use the Swapcard app or online version to obtain their QR code badge. This can be used for self-registration at the event. Alternatively, one of our staff organisers will confirm your registration and provide you with your badge.

What is Swapcard?

Swapcard is our official event platform app. You will receive your login details once the app is live. Once you have received your details, you must download the app and login as you will need to present your QR code at registration for your badge. The app will also give you the opportunity to make connections and network with other attendees. As there will be no paper agendas at the event, you can view it on the app; build your own personalised agenda by marking the sessions you are interested in. Please note, you cannot attend the event or dial into any sessions virtually through the app. You will need to attend the event physically to participate in sessions.

 

Swapcard goes live on the 12th of September.

 

Badge collection

Attendees need to download the event app (Swapcard) and they will have “my badge” on the home screen. After accessing the badge (QR code), simply scan it at the registration desk
