Maria Nagy, PhD, is an accomplished microbiologist who has studied quorum sensing, quorum sensing inhibitors, bacterial resistance and screening for new antibiotic leads for the last 14 years. She serves as CEO of Quorum X Diagnostics. Previously, she managed a research laboratory at Georgia State University for 7 years and has supervised up to 21 researchers at a time. She also has 2 years’ experience working at Ethicon, a JnJ company, where she was a QC laboratory supervisor. Her main duties included CAPA, Internal, External and FDA audit responses.
