Best design and user experience

 

Open to: All customer facing brands operating in the Middle East, Central and South Asia and North Africa.

The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine Territories and Turkey. 

Central and South Asia will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

North Africa will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania.

 

About this category:  

This award will recognise outstanding achievements in web and mobile design, development and a seamless user experience. 
The award will be presented to the most inspiring, user-focused site, app or digital service. 


Judges will honour holistic design that places an emphasis on people and the entire user experience, and that shuns traditional product categories. 

 

Criteria: 

Entrants will be judged on their answers to the following questions: (Answers to each question will be cut off after 250 words) ‚Äč

  1. Name your website, app or service and the basic concept and provide a link 
  2. Name your key partners, designers and solution providers 
  3. Discuss the 3 unique features of your platform design 
  4. Discuss the usability of your platform and your testing strategy 
  5. What channels is your site available on and how do you ensure your site is responsive across channels?
  6. Discuss how you integrate content and social media into your design
  7. How does your platform create a simple on-boarding experience?
  8. Describe the technologies and analytics you use to create a personalised experience  
  9. What sets your design and user experience apart from the competition?
